The Artist
Keith Woodcock is a Fellow of the Guild of Aviation Artists, an Artist Fellow of the American Society of Aviation Artists and a full signature member of the Guild of Motoring Artists.
Having initially trained and qualified as a design engineer, he opted to fulfil his ultimate aspirations of becoming a full time professional artist in 1982 but restricted his choice of subjects to aviation and motoring. This was a deliberate decision rooted in a determination to utilise the knowledge gained during his 26 years of varied employment in the engineering industry, although his life-long enthusiasm for aircraft and cars was also a motivating factor.
Since that time he has acquired an impressive reputation with solo exhibitions in both the UK and USA plus participation in regular group shows in Germany, France, Italy, Canada and the Channel Islands winning 18 awards including the premier trophies at international exhibitions on both sides of the Atlantic.
He has completed well over 3000 paintings, illustrations and drawings, many of which have been commissioned by, or hang in the collections of, companies, organizations and individuals worldwide, which include :-
Royal Automobile Club, Boeing, Royal Air Force, Norwegian Air Force, Alfa Romeo UK, Cathay Pacific Airlines
Peter Jackson, Monogram, Ford Germany, Saudi Arabian Air Force, BAE Systems, Bradford Exchange, Putnam Publications,
