Two prototypes of this unconventional twin-engined seaplane were made but only one flew and was soon destroyed in a crash which killed the pilot. No air to air photographs were ever taken and insurmountable cooling problems prevented it racing in the Schneider Trophy races for which it was designed..
The painting was exhibited in the 2017 Guild of Aviation Artists exhibition at the Mall galleries in London.
